Endeavour International

Endeavour International was created in 2008 to spread and share the knowledge.
In Japan, it is not only the Japanese, but foreigners alike who eagerly seek after useful knowledge. For generations, the Japanese, both young and old have thirsted to increase their knowledge for various reasons, among them one is the desire to understand the traditions and culture of other countries. There is so much to learn from various countries. Why Japan is continuously attracting foreigners? Though sometimes it appears that foreigners come to Japan for business or to earn money but in most of the cases expatriates come to Japan because they want to learn, experience and live in this unique culture. Presently, Endeavour International selects from among Japan’s foreign population the very competent speakers to share their knowledge.

Endeavour founder Kazuko Kawauchi says, "While everyone is interested in expanding their knowledge base, it is not always easy to access knowledgeable people. What we often find from the Internet, and from other media like the TV or the newspapers, is very limited (and often structured more for commercial benefit). In my travels, I am blessed to meet many wonderful speakers who possess enormous knowledge – sometimes knowledge of a kind that was never brought forth to the public. At the same time, I also come across many people who are seeking for this specific knowledge. Thus, with my own connections and resources I determined to start Endeavour International and to bridge this knowledge gap for social benefit."
Most of the fees collected by Endeavour International are used to cover the cost of organizing the event and for administrative expenses.

Furthermore, our affiliation with B1G1, a social welfare agency, means that every time you pay to attend an Endeavour International event you will be contributing towards the salary of a teacher, or the education of a child, in India, Africa, or other developing region.

As often can be understood by great people it is difficult to continue this journey without the support of sponsors, apart from general public, speakers and like minded individuals. We welcome sponsors, as well as monetary contributors to assist Endeavour International.
